Ah, nature. One of my favorite things to photograph. This week I decided to take some "nature" shots while on my morning walk with Killian. I loved the sun streaming through the trees and bouncing off the water of the pond. We're lucky to have such a peaceful place to walk!
Now please go check out Patricia Anderson Photography. Thanks for stopping by!
This week our theme is "Pastel" and my garden is bursting with pastel colors right now!
Please go visit Carrie Hyche at Heart of the West to see her beautiful pastels!
"Spring" is our theme this week and Spring has officially sprung here in Texas. It's far too hot already, in my opinion, and I'm not looking forward to the long days of summer ahead. But while we have a few days of spring, I can't help but capture some of the best moments of the season.
Last weekend, the hubs and I went to the Hill Country to spend some time with my sister and her hubby. While we were there, we had a day out on my brother-in-law's dad's ranch. We all had a wonderful time being lazy, spending all day outside and eating way too much.
Spring flowers are popping up everywhere. How can you not love the Hill Country on Spring days?
Everyone who comes by the ranch brings their dog. Our family is very dog friendly and the ranch is a doggy heaven of sorts. The dogs just run around, chase each other, roll in dirt and jump in the tub. You can tell they love when they get to be "real" dogs out in the "wild."
In the afternoon, we headed down to the river and the kids decided to take the plunge into the still chilly waters. I was not that brave. I stayed safely behind my camera!
Of course, Spring sunsets in the Hill Country are gorgeous. There's nothing better than walking along a country road and taking in the sights as the sun falls below the tree line.
Now, please head on over to Heart of the West and see what Spring looks like through the lens of Carrie Hyche!
This week's theme for 52 Wednesdays was a little difficult for me. "Laughter" is harder to catch than you think! I thought I might have to sit this challenge out, but then I wonderful woman in my group suggested that I photograph something that makes me laugh.
Oh, that's easy. There are two personalities in my life that make me laugh on a daily basis:
My husband and our border collie, Killian. They are the biggest goofballs. Killian's "crazy eyes" cracks me up in this picture, not to mention that he looks like he broke his neck!
Silly boys. I can always count on them to make me laugh (and shake my head and roll my eyes!).
Please check out Tiffany Anderson's blog and her take on "Laughter."
